Commentateur DTM pour Orange Sport, Romain Grosjean a admis durant la course d'hier qu'il serait intéressé de courir en championnat de tourisme allemand.
"Il y a la F1, et ensuite il y a le DTM. J'espère qu'à court terme, il y aura aussi le GT1 mais ce n'est pas encore le cas", déclare le Français au micro d'Orange Sport.
"C'est une compétition qui m'intéresserait vraiment. Il y aura bientôt BMW qui s'ajoutera aux constructeurs déjà présents, et cela fait des volants à prendre. Il faudrait faire un test, voir ce dont je suis capable mais oui, ça me plairait", avoue encore l'ancien pilote Renault F1.
Il y a quelques semaines, Jenson Button avait déjà fait part de son intérêt pour le DTM, un championnat particulièrement relevé où de nombreux anciens pilotes de F1 ont poursuivi leur carrière, comme c'est le cas aujourd'hui de Ralf Schumacher et de David Coulthard. Alors, Grosjean en DTM d'ici 2012 ?
