A la fin de la deuxième séance des essais libres du vendredi du Grand Prix de Singapour, c'est Sébastian Vettel qui affiche son nom en tête du classement. Le pilote Red Bull Racing a signé un tour en 1:48.650. Il devance Fernando Alonso et Heikki Kovalainen.
Le drapeau rouge a été une nouvelle fois agitée. Cette fois-ci, c'est Mark Webber qui a terminé dans le mur.
