Fabio Leimer ne cesse de dominer les essais privés de GP2 Series qui ont lieu à Abu Dhabi. Pour la quatrième fois, le pilote suisse a réalisé le meilleur temps après avoir déjà réalisé cette performance mercredi et ce matin.
Cette séance a, une nouvelle fois, été dominée par les pilotes expérimentés du GP2 Series. On retrouve donc Michael Herck à la deuxième place devant Sam Bird, Romain Grosjean, Dani Clos et Marcus Ericsson. Le premier débutant est septième et c’est Roberto Merhi.
Alors que Romain Grosjean a terminé cette séance à la quatrième place, Nathanel Berthon est quant à lui 17ème.
