Pour cette dernière journée d’essais préparatifs à la saison 2011 de GP3 Series, c’est Nigel Melker qui a réalisé le meilleur temps lors de la séance matinale à Barcelone.
Le pilote de l’équipe RSC Mücke Motorsport a réalisé son meilleur tour en 1:37.882, il devance ainsi de trois dixièmes Alexander Sims. Avec un tour réalisé en 1:38.251, Nico Müller termine troisième.
Derrière ces trois premiers pilotes, on retrouve Mitch Evans. Le Néo-Zélandais devance Adrian Quaife-Hobbs, Marlon Stockinger, Antonio Felix da Costa, alors qu’Andrea Caldarelli termine huitième. Tom Dillmann est quant à lui 18ème.
