Jari-Matti Latvala compte désormais trois petites secondes d’avance sur Sébastien Ogier en tête du Rallye de Finlande en milieu de deuxième étape. La course se résume à un duel entre les deux équipiers de Volkswagen, duel qui pourrait durer jusqu’à la toute dernière spéciale, dans tout juste 24 heures...

Depuis notre dernier point, le Finlandais a donc augmenté son avance de neuf petits dixièmes. Il en a rendu un au Français dans l’ES13 avant de le devancer d’une seconde dans l’ES14.

La situation est stable derrière également avec, derrière les deux Volkswagen, deux Citroën, deux Hyundai, trois Ford et deux Skoda. Ces deux dernières mènent largement la catégorie WRC2 devant la DS3 de Stéphane Lefebvre.

Après la pause de la mi-journée, l’ES15 débutera à 13h37. La boucle de l’après-midi reprendra les quatre spéciales de l’après-midi, qui seront toujours à suivre en direct commenté sur Motorsport.com.
