Q1 - Stroll signe la première pole au Norisring
Sur l'atypique tracé urbain du Norisring, long de 2,3 kilomètres, c'est Lance Stroll qui a signé la pole position pour la première course du week-end en F3 Europe.

Le Canadien a devancé son dauphin au championnat, Callum Ilott, de près de deux dixièmes. Deux rookies s'illustrent en composant la deuxième ligne, Joel Eriksson et Guan Yu Zhou.
Les autres membres du top 5 du championnat ont connu une séance difficile, puisque l'on retrouve George Russell, Maximilian Günther et Ben Barnicoat aux sixième, neuvième et seizième rangs respectivement.
En raison du tracé très court, les écart sont logiquement serrés avec huit dixièmes entre le premier et le dernier !
